| To be recognised as an Outstanding School means that we “provide exceptionally well for all our pupils’ needs.” |
| We were awarded the Leading Aspect Award because of our commitment to training others to teach in an engaging and relevant way. |
| Only a small percentage of schools achieve this coveted award for outstanding arts provision. We have ongoing partnerships with artists and we support other schools with their curriculum development. |
| We believe strongly in the value of outdoor learning and caring for our beautiful school grounds. We are one of a small percentage of schools to gain this award in recognition of our commitment to the environment. Examples of our work include a market garden, weekly outdoor learning and creating animal habitats. Next year we are working to improve the school grounds so that the local wildlife will return after the building work is complete. |
| We are a Leading Parent Partnership School. We have gained this award in recognition of our commitment to investing in parents for the achievement of pupils.
|
| We are a singing school with a choir, opportunities for performance and an annual talent show. We are proud of the standard of singing in school and we were given this gold standard in recognition of the positive impact of singing in school. Next year we hope to run a community choir with parents and friends joining children and staff. |
This award recognises our commitment to embed and establish international links across the curriculum. Our ICT E-Twinning Club involves working on shared tasks with children from other countries in order for us to learn more about other places and cultures.
This award recognises the high quality support we give for future teachers and for providing further opportunities for training colleagues from the university.
This award recognises our robust and secure procedures and policies which help our children stay safe online. It also recognises our effective e-safety curriculum.
This award recognises our effective practice through study days on Mantle of the Expert. |
